Abstract :
The warm standby system is a generalization of hot standby system and cold standby system which is quite applicable in describing real systems. This paper focuses on reliability evaluation of 1-out-of-(n+1) warm standby system subject to fault level coverage and a multi-valued decision diagram based approach is proposed. The proposed method is suitable to analyze systems with components in arbitrary lifetime distributions and numerical studies show its applicability.
