Abstract :
The application of Underwriters Laboratories fuses rated 600 A or less and 600 V or less is discussed, considering only those fuse types suitable for use in AC switchboard applications. The fundamentals for these types of fuse are reviewed, and specification criteria are given. The fuse specification process is described. Application criteria are examined.<>
