Abstract :
This paper presents future directions for warranty systems development based on our experience of warranty software development for world´s leading vehicle manufacturers and airplane engine manufacturers. The state of the art warranty systems are discussed which establishes a basis for changes in the approach. Based on past and current trends, future warranty systems are proposed.
