Abstract :
the issue of positioning is an important problem in the Ad Hoc networks. To meet the requirements of applications, we propose a new method based on similarity in the Ad Hoc networks. The algorithm locates the unknown nodes by using RSSI values as parameter and combining the similarity quota that describes the degree of environment similarity between nodes. Simulation results show that the similarity position algorithm is not sensitive to the supplementary link loss. It has moderate accuracy and works well in the harsh environment.
