Abstract :
Recently, plenty of subscribers or enterprise networks utilize multihoming schemes which are on the basis of multiple links to access the Internet. However, multihoming schemes also result in some problems such as time delay, packets loss and so on. To prevent issues mentioned above, a novel Dynamic Load Sharing Algorithm (DLSA) is developed for the multihomed terminals. DLSA is a weight based algorithm which allocates the load through multiple links. The original packets delivering of DLSA is established on the basis of the mapping to Accessing and Switching Routers (ASR), which optimizes the transmission capacity for the network. Besides, DLSA improves the links utility and diminishes the overall cost of all links. As shown in the experimental analysis, DLSA behaves better performance than some general load sharing schemes and enhances the utilization rate of the network capacity.
