Abstract
A discussion is given on how some companies in the pulp and paper industry are taking a pro-active posture to solving the problems of customer complaints based upon product quality. Computer systems are becoming vital to allow mills to gain ISO 9000 certification. The steps taken to gain certification are summarized.<>
