Abstract :
Derrick steel structures in the work will be subjected to various dynamic loads, based on transient response analysis method, the transient response of derrick steel structures is calculated and analyzed using ANSYS. The numerical model of the derrick steel structures is established, and the first ten order natural frequencies are obtained from the result of modal analysis. Derrick steel structures in two working conditions which including abruptly pull and brake conditions (ABPC) and normal drilling conditions (NDC) are analyzed using transient response analysis method. Nodal displacements and the maximum compressive stress of trusses and the position of trusses under the maximum compressive stress in the two conditions are obtained and compared, some conclusions and suggestion to improve the reliability and safety of drilling production are provided.
