Abstract :
In this paper we examine the outage behavior of a coded cooperative system for independent, flat Nakagami-m fading channels. For this generalized form of fading statistics, we derive a closed form solution for outage probability constrained on instantaneous received power. We further find, analytically, the critical cooperation ratio at which total outage probability is minimum.
