Abstract :
In this paper, a multi-state system under dynamic load-sharing strategy is studied. The system is consisting of more than one type of components connected in parallel. The performance rate of the component can be increased or decreased, leading to a change of failure rate. Once any component in the system fails, the performance rate of components will be redistributed based on a dynamic load-sharing strategy. The Markov model is used in this paper to characterize the deterioration process of the system and evaluate the system reliability. The proposed model is demonstrated via a numerical example.
