Abstract :
Almost all the researches on the distributed scheduling of WiMAX mesh mode concentrate on the three-way handshaking procedure. There are merely researches about data subframe scheduling which would affect network capacity even more seriously than this procedure. We model the distributed scheduling as two parts: three-way handshaking model and data subframe scheduling model. We focus on data subframe scheduling in this paper. The theoretic analysis shows that data allocation in data subframe has tightly impact on network throughput and efficiency. Therefore a Throughput-Efficiency Optimal distributed data subframe Scheduling scheme, named as TEOS, is proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that TEOS works excellently to achieve throughput-efficiency optimal for connections.
