Abstract :
This paper presents a warranty forecasting system that forecasts future failure counts, multiple periods ahead, from the production of a non-repairable product, which enters the field as staggered groups of units. Warranty data analysis is a vast research area. Even warranty forecasting may involve many different scenarios. We focus on the most common scenario and study the issues that appear during the implementation in software. The software with warranty forecasting capability will be accessible to the general users. We will present our efforts that are based on and beyond existing approaches.
