Abstract
For the abstract concepts and complex theories in Computer Networks, this paper introduced a mini case study approach as teaching aids in the course of Computer Networks. A virtual network experiment environment for mini cases was built with the software of VMware, and the cases were analyzed by the Wireshark. The cases of simple network communication and TCP protocol analysis were used to demonstrate the application of the approach. Through integrating the theory and practice, it helps students master the fundamental principles of Computer Networks.
