Abstract :
In order to make reader read tags within a large area under the case of a finite reader´s output power, a new design scheme of reader antenna that can enlarge reader´s reading area is presented in this paper. In the scheme, general reader antenna coil is replaced by combination of series-parallel connection of several small antenna coils. The reader antenna designed by the scheme proposed in this paper not only can make reader read tags in a larger planar area, but also can make reader read tags in some height range in vertical. This design scheme has wide application future.
