Abstract :
A serviced-oriented cross-layer survivability strategy was supported in order to provide differentiated service, avoid starting survivability strategy in the two layers, and use the advantage of segment protection scheme when failures happened in multilayer networks. The strategy provided differentiated service using regeneration node configuration scheme based on QoT (Quality of Transmission); optimized performance of networks using segment protection scheme based on regeneration node; resolved the problem of allocating resource duplicate and survivability strategy conflict interlayer using cross-layer route mapping based on GMPLS control plane. The results show that the supported survivability strategy not only can provide differentiated service, but also can improve network reliability and performance.
