Abstract
This paper describes the quasi-static analysis of planar transmission lines with arbitrary electrode thickness. A slightly modified mode-matching method, simple and fast approach to the quasi-static analysis, has been used to analyze the planar transmission lines with arbitrary electrode thickness and is validated through comparison with those from available other´s results. The results show that the field patterns of planar transmission lines with arbitrary electrode thickness can be exactly predicted and quasi-static parameters can be obtained as a function of the ratio of electrode thickness.
