Abstract
In order to improve the reading distance of portable RFID system effectively, the relationship of tag activating distance and transmitting power of reader is particularly analyzed and proved by experiment in this paper. A method for piecewise amplifying signal is proposed by analyzing the action of consumed power of tag and the reader´s minimum receiving power.
