Abstract :
This research aims to explore the influence of the Qigong upon the physically vulnerable undergraduates. 54 physically vulnerable undergraduates are divided into two groups: the experiment group and the contrast group. The experiment group has their heart rate, blood pressure, lungs capacity, speed, strength, and endurance tested before and after the experiment by the using of SCL-90. The research shows that there is a big difference between the experiment group and the contrast group - the above indexes of the experiment group increased much and their systolic blood pressure decreased much but their arm strength increased. Apart from these, the indexes of their psychological qualities like somatization, public relation, worries, sensibility, pressure, depression, tension, fears, and prejudice, are decreased. So, this research concludes that Qigong practice helps to improve the physically vulnerable undergraduates´ functions of the heart and lungs, their physical quality, and their psychological quality.
