Abstract :
Because of high dynamic topology and partitioned networks in VANET(Vehicular ad hoc networks), an important problem in VANET is to find efficient ways to disseminate information on the target areas before the vehicle entering into another road. The problem of information propagation analysis is closely related to the connectivity of networks. Based on the general assumption that vehicle gap distribution can be approximated by an exponential distribution, we analyze several statistical parameters of one-dimensional Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks. In this paper, the relationship of Vehicle Ad hoc Networks and one-dimensional Ad Hoc networks where nodes independently uniform distributed is discussed and the probabilities of Vehicular Ad hoc Network connectivity for difference cases are derived. Finally, We validate our works by comparing the analysis and simulation results.
