Abstract
Presents the results of experimental and theoretical studies of electron beams moving along curvilinear nearly harmonic passes. A description of electrons in the Motz undulator is given for a case when there is a longitudinal external magnetic field. Under certain conditions of the ratio of the transversal and longitudinal field components the trajectories of electrons suffer substantial deformations, which lead to more complicated dynamics and, consequently, to the generation of higher harmonics of the cyclotron frequency
