  • Abstract
    In order to explore the relationship between social supporting system and psychological health of teenagers, we investigated the social supporting system and psychological health in Zhuzhou area.350 teenagers in this area were chosen as the subjects. Chinese Middle School Students Psychological Health Scale and Middle School Students´ Social Support System Evaluating Scale was employed in our test. Results revealed that teenagers´ social supporting system of Zhuzhou was mainly composed of informal and formal system, and informal system played the main role. Teenagers´ psychological health problem in this area focused on high pressure of study, emotional instability, relationships crises and anxiety. Differences in the psychological health of the high and low level social supporting system group were statistically significant, except for the difference in obsession. There is significant negative correlation between the social supporting system and each factors of psychological health.
