Abstract
This work deals with the new method of polarization transformation and control for the electromagnetic waves. Also a design of modulator of polarization for the quasioptical transmission line, operating in the range of millimeter and submillimeter waves is presented. Some particularities of modulator opermodulaation are described as well as the experiments provided. Our primary aim was to develop and create a simple, reliable and high-speed modulator of polarization of electromagnetic wave operating in a wide frequency band, capable both to convert and to encode the polarization of a wave. Suitable devices for this purpose found in millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths range were that of 20 mm diameter hollow dielectric waveguide-based quasioptical transmission line devices designed at the IRE NAS of Ukraine
