Abstract :
This paper applies the constant vibration stress accelerated degradation tests to study the effects of random vibration on the parameters stability of quartz flexible accelerometer. Two stress levels of the accelerated degradation test (ADT) are conducted where random vibration spectrum is experienced by accelerometers in the transportation. Then two-step analysis method based on the pseudo life is applied in the data processing of the ADT to estimate the reliability of accelerometer. Through the application of this method, the reliable stability duration at the normal vibration stress level is estimated. Meanwhile, the accelerated data illustrates that the zero bias subjected to the vibration stress has the characteristic of monotonous degradation, but the scale factor doesn´t have. Thus, it can be conclude that the stability duration of the accelerometer is determined by the changing of zero bias. Also, it is analyzed that the vibration effects on the acceleration characteristic of zero bias is not obviously significant.
