Abstract :
The space thick film fuse is now widely used in spacecraft to provide protection from overcurrent. Based on the typical highly reliable thick-film fuse FM12, this paper analyses the fusing mechanism of space fuse, the classical failure modes and causes are investigated and summarized; Implement limit assessment test to domestic typical thick-film fuse, verify the rationality of one of the failure mechanism analysis results. It provides an important reference value for optimizing fuses´ design process and improving the product quality.
