Abstract :
In this paper, the primary constituents in volatile oils of Saposhinikavia divarica(S.D.) collected in different harvest times were analyzed and identyfyed. Water vapor distillation was used to extract the volatile of S.D. and GC-MS was used to analyze and identify the chemical compinents of the volatile oils. As a result, the type of chemical constitents and their contents in the sample volatile oils were significantly different. 32 of 122 compounds exsited in all samples and most of them were terpenoids and chained aliphatic. The content of volatile oil in wild S.D. collected in November were higher than that in August, whereas that in the planted S.D. was higher in August than in November. It is the first time that the differce in volatile oil content between the wild and the planted S.D. is proposed. The research provide important evidences for the future research on the pharmacology, planting, quality control, and the development and utilization on the herbal medicinal resources in Saposhnikovia divaricata.
