Abstract
The receiver fixture interface (RFI) IEEE P1505 standard is to improve ease of use and maintain RFI as a true, open multi-vendor architecture at the system level under the IEEE Standards Organization per the P1505 Standard specifications. Areas specified include; receiver/fixture framework; connectors/contacts; and pin mapping. The specifications vendors are to produce for the standard and application recommendations for the integrator/user to apply the standard.
