Abstract :
Test case design is a key factor to improve software reliability level. A new method for software reliability test case design based on Markov chain usage model is presented. Construction steps of software Markov chain usage Model based on UML are introduced. Markov chain usage model is described with directed graph. Auto generation arithmetic of reliability test case is proposed to ease the software reliability test in practice. Based on the method, an ATM software reliability test case is designed and demonstrated. The result proves the method in this paper is practical and efficient in engineering practices.
