  • Abstract
The aim of symbolic analysis is to gain insight into circuit behaviour, and an efficient approximation strategy is the key to succeed in the symbolic analysis of large analog circuits. A fully symbolic procedure for the simplification of large expressions, based on relations between parameters of the circuit, is presented in this paper. This simplification strategy is particularly well suited to be combined with some circuit level decomposition algorithms
