Abstract :
Fully parallel methods for implementing the most significant relational algebra operators and data integrity checking in cellular arrays are proposed, and the structure of these arrays is described. Thus, a basis for designing the detailed architecture of a cellular array relational database computer (CARDC) is established. The authors show how select, sort, project and join can be implemented in cellular arrays. The data dependencies checking algorithms are presented
