Abstract :
As an alternative to the usual purely analog antialiasing filters, a mixed mode approach is studied, and the existence of a continuous-time representation is recalled. Using a slight oversampling of a factor of two typically, the specifications of the analog filter can be relaxed and its sensitivity can be significantly reduced. A particular class of linear-phase transfer functions is studied, which leads to a very simple current-mode implementation. This is illustrated by a practical acquisition video filter design problem
