Abstract :
Wireless connectivity is being deployed in networks in a very big way. Whether it is mobile communications, fixed telephony through WLL or wireless personal communication. The available spectrum is scarce and thus it is a very precious resource. It has to be used judiciously, to meet the objectives of the network operator. Some of the principles used for cell planning for mobile networks especially for the GSM network are highlighted
