Abstract
Localization of nodes is a key technology for application of wireless sensor network. By analyzing the solutions of model of localization and the environment´s influence for RSSI, this paper provide an adaptive weights weighted centroid localization algorithm based on RSSI. We use anchor nodes to measure the signal loss which can be used to calculate the weights to prompt localization accuracy. The simulation results show that the average localization error will be reduced to about a quarter and even to about a half in the complex environment especially in the edge compared to the original centriod algorithm.
