Abstract :
Learning evaluation of physical education (PE) is a key link in the course of PE teaching, through which the teacher is able to complete the judgment of teaching mission while receiving feedback information as the basis of amelioration. In the meanwhile, the teacher, by this process of learning evaluation, is able to encourage, inspire and educate the students. The author commences with the presentation of the development of educational evaluation, in which the author probes into the topic deeply on the current study on learning evaluation of PE in universities both at home and abroad and then the author points out the problems existed in the system of learning evaluation of PE at home: it does not fully reflect the idea of “Health First” and restrict the PE educational development in universities. Therefore, reform should be imperative.
