Set pair theory is an effective processing method of uncertain information, in which the relative certainties and uncertainties are isolated from the problem, so the decision making can be done under the relative certain conditions. Aiming at the uncertain problems in the evaluation of naval gun maintenance support capability, the index system is brought forward in accordance with the sorts of naval gun support institutions. Based on the established connection degree of the evaluation index and quality grade, the set pair evaluation model is built. And then a comprehensive weighting method considering subjectivity and objectivity is adopted to determine the combined weight, so the subjective uncertainties can be well handled. According to the example studied, the validity of this method is proved, which provides a guidance to solve the uncertain problems in the evaluation process of naval gun maintenance support capability.
