            Abstract : 
A dynamic sliding mode adaptive controller design algorithm for single-input single-output nonlinear systems with higher-order and unmatched uncertainties is provided. We propose a new method to combine the technique of dynamic sliding mode with extensive adaptation laws, which can easily handle the problem of higher-order and unmatched uncertainties without any knowledge of the upper bounds of the uncertainties. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposed design method
