Abstract :
We summarize the results of two applications of soft-computing to walking robots. In the first case a fuzzy controller has been adopted to solve a classical problem of controlling the position of three DC motors. Such a controller showed good dynamical performance, was very easy to be tuned and allowed one to add ad-hoc rules in order to change its behaviour. In the second case soft computing techniques allowed one to solve the problem of controlling the trajectory of a new kind of uncertain micro-walking robots
