Abstract :
The management of spare inventory with lateral supply is an effective approach to improve support effectiveness and reduce the support costs. Focusing on the problem, a spare inventory model with lateral supply was proposed considering the current facilities supply mode. Considering relative important time and cost indexes, the model is further extended with lateral supply cost. Finally, an example was given to verify that this model can not only improve the availability of the system, but also save a large amount of relative cost, which has a large significance for a better support system.
