Abstract
The theoretical performance of a speed A/D conversion attained from a modified Hopfield neural network is discussed. The particular network permits a theoretical A/D conversion based on the specific design of the neuron´s settling time. Starting from the equivalent Smith and Portmann circuit, where the authors have modified the trigger´s hysteresis and thresholds, they propose a new theoretical circuit, based on a theorem, which is also demonstrated
