Abstract :
This paper deals with the generation, propagation and suppression of radiated EM waves through metallic shielding barriers and gasketed joints. It describes (1) the correlation between the transfer impedance of a gasketed joint and the subsequent shielding effectiveness of the joint; (2) a transfer impedance test fixture; and (3) the transfer impedance test data of selected gaskets and joint surfaces
