Abstract :
There is defective insulator partial discharging (PD) phenomenon in high voltage transmission lines. High voltage online insulator detection can be realized by special ultraviolet sensor to detect the ultraviolet when discharging. This paper introduces this detective principle, and designs ultraviolet online detector based on this principle. The inspection on simulation of discharging spark proves the system highly sensitivity, perfect real time. And it can be utilized in the discharging detection of power system, transformer substation, etc.
