Abstract :
This paper predicts crosstalk and coupling between cables and electromagnetic fields. In the quasi-TEM assumption and frequency-domain, the response of a system containing an arbitrary number of multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) with arbitrary linear networks in an electromagnetic field is given. Time-domain analytical solutions are given for two and three conductors illuminated by an external field. More generally, several time and frequency domain experimental and numerical results related to shielded and unshielded cables are presented. Some examples of nonuniform lines (cascaded networks) are performed
