Abstract
Four methods of comparing geomagnetic activity (GMA) and medical-biological events are discussed: (1) daily A and K indices, (2) `peristorm´ days analysis, (3) mean monthly K index, and (4) daily number of events on quiet (I°), unsettled (II°), active (III°) and stormy (IV°) GMA days in the complete rising and declining parts of the 11-year solar activity cycle
