Abstract :
In this paper, design methodology for BLDC motor to minimize torque ripple in accordance with winding connection and control method has been proposed. Design methodology has been investigated via performance analysis according to Y-connection and Δ-connection, respectively, by Finite Element Method(FEM). In addition, applying proposed overlapping control method on designed models, the validity in respect of torque ripple minimization has been verified.
