Abstract :
Organic transistors can be employed as chemical sensors and recent work has shown that they can attain useful sensitivities. Scaling down the transistor to channel dimensions in the 10-150 nm range produced markedly different responses compared to micron scale devices. A new hybrid silicon/organic sensor device has been described with improved properties compared to CHEMFETs
