Abstract :
Telecommunications equipments are one of the most critical loads to be supplied. In order to fulfill their imperative need for reliability, an energy storage system must be included and an efficient power converter must be added to meet the telecommunications equipment strict requirements. This paper intends to simulate an energy storage system, as part of a photovoltaic/fuel cell supply, with the purpose of studying the power converters and their capability to feed telecommunications equipments under different operating modes.
