Abstract
We use the Boring professor movement model to propose a novel analytical approach to the handoff management for hierarchical mobile IP. Applying the Laplace transform and Residue Theorem, we get the general probability of number of moving cross FA. It is very useful for handoff management in hierarchical mobile IP.
