Abstract :
The route optimization technique helps to optimize the media path between two communicating nodes. For PMIPv6 technology, this route optimization technique is applicable to both the intra-LMA and inter-LMA scenarios. In this paper, we propose the set up of bi-directional tunnel is completed by utilizing once signaling interaction in the two scenarios. For the inter-LMA scenario, anycast technology is utilized for discovering the address of correspondent LMA and MAG during the implement of routing optimum. At the same time, the mechanism of routing optimum negotiation and trigger is presented for the latter scenario. The advantages of the routing optimum mechanism presented is that its implement makes no difference for data packet forward, decreasing packet loss or increasing throughput or diminishing transport delay.
