  • Abstract
This paper describes joint use of a simulation program (MC2-machine converter control) on a digital computer and an experimental bench including a commutatorless machine (CLM) with salient poles and configurable damper cage for identification and modelling of this system as well as designing the machine control loops. The experimental bench tested in the laboratory uses a four-pole synchronous motor with main parameters 10 kVA, 220 V, 27 A, 50 Hz, and 1500 RPM. A microcomputer assumes all control and regulation functions
