Abstract :
In this paper, the stochastic loader problem is proposed based on the determinate loader problem. For finding the optimal solution, a new particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm that combines crossover operators and penalty functions is developed. Comparing with the basic PSO and some other optimization algorithms, this improved PSO algorithm can get better convergence efficiency and higher solution precision. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the model.
