Abstract
The goals of this one-year study (1990) were to check the distribution of certain events in accordance with different levels of geomagnetic activity (GMA); and to determine whether combined geomagnetic- meteorologic data provide an improved basis for studying and predicting the forthcoming distribution of such events. The study was carried out at a 1000-bed multiple university hospital. In all, 692 admissions for acute myocardial infarction (AMI), 79 deaths from AMI, and 51 deaths from cerebrovascular accident were studied
