Abstract :
In this paper a hydraulic pump system with Surface plug in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is introduced. According to the operation demands of PMSM using in hydraulic pump application, the parameters design rules of variable speed high efficiency PMSM are presented. The influence of variable speed high efficiency PMSM parameters of different motor dimensions is analyzed. When design the prototype motors, there are some pieces of method to obtain higher output performance like torque and efficiency. The field-circuit coupling design method of variable speed high efficiency PMSM is studied considering the hydraulic pump drive demands. Experimental results show that the proposed hydraulic pump system has a good dynamic response.
